French term

fréquence de tir

French to English Tech/Engineering Medical (general)
This is a wave-transmitting device, e.g. for ultrasound. Could this simply be the firing frequency?

firing rate

Not my field.

I'd also have said "firing frequency". But a bit of googling suggests "rate" may be more common for the specific context.

Temporal resolution: frames and frame rate. A frame consists of an accumulation of pulses/scan lines. FR is limited by line density and sector width.
