Spanish term
Compensación de Cotizaciones Mensual (CCM)
The actual terms I have to translate is the gnomic "CCM en curso", with no indication of what the acronym is for. My research so far has found an example of usage in the text below from Bolivia:
"El decreto en cuestión implementa el ajuste Inversamente Proporcional (IP) y per cápita de la ***Compensación de Cotizaciones Mensual (CCM)*** en curso de pago de asegurados del Sistema Integral de Pensiones (SIP), estableciendo la forma de su implementación y aplicación."
It would also be interesting to know if the abbreviation CCM is usually translated, or left as it is.

Monthly Weighted-Average [Run-Rate] Adjustment of Defined-Pension Contributions (CCM)
The length of any explanation in 'English' would militate against a long-string abbreviation or acronym.
Anyway, having tried to make sense of the mechanics in 'Spanglish' at p. 89 of Althea's link, I can see this is - rather than a defined (employer's) benefit - a defined (employee's) contributory scheme.
Misuse of the word 'compensation' doesn't help, namely whether this is a set-off, tax allowance or relief or is an employer's payroll adjustment.
The following explanation connotes to me an averaged-out or non-corporate run-rate (I've included the latter term in case anyone tries - again - to lift parts of my answer): 'The fraction of the accumulated balance is obtained through a *calculation of the life-time fixed or variable interest income* that an insured can earn on the accumulated balance in his/her personal insurance account.'
Query on the article: 'earnings valorisation' for 'income enhancement etc.' vs. valuation and 'Old-Age Solidarity (Social Welfare / Hardship?) Pension' vs. a Polish Trade Union benefit.
Come back ProZ insurance translators, authors of handbooks on such intricate subject!
Bol. -> Defined contribution The defined-contribution pension is a combination of the fraction of the accumulated balance in the individual account and a Monthly Payments Compensation (CCM), where applicable.
Arg. -> Additional pension (\'social = national ? insurance). The monthly additional pension is equal to 1.5% of the insured’s average adjusted monthly earnings (*weighted average* of the monthly amounts for self-employed workers) for each year of servi
LOL, if that's what it is, I'm not surprised they use the abbreviation! Thanks for posting. |
