What are Social Skills Groups? Social skills groups are small groups (typically two to eight kids) led by an adult who teaches the kids how to interact appropriately with others their age. They can help kids learn conversational, friendship and problem-solving skills.

Într-adevăr, „planned” e cam ambiguu aici, pentru că ar putea să însemne că plănuiesc să organizeze astfel de grupuri sau că sunt planificate în sensul că se desfășoară după un anumit plan. Nu cred că e o sintagmă consacrată, deci în afară de a îl întreba pe client exact ce vrea să spună, singura opțiune ar fi să folosești „grupuri planificate de dezvoltare a competențelor sociale specifice”. Oricum, ideea e ce înțeleg părinții și pe ei îi interesează că școala organizează niște grupuri care le ajută copiii să își dezvolte competențele sociale. Mai departe, probabil vor cere detalii când își înscriu efectiv copiii.
