bioactive collagen biomaterial
Biomaterial for use in treating a wound or excision wherein the biomaterial is for contact with an advancing wound edge to promote and/or accelerate wound closure.
For use in wound therapy, exposing cells to collagen and more specifically, specially configured collagen materials having denatured collagen, in the form of pads, sponges, foams, granules, hydrogels, slurries and the like as tissue or wound coverings would expose the non-advancing wound edge to the RGD amino acid sequence and help promote and accelerate wound closure.

: Why did you turn an adjective ("advancing") into a noun ("la progression")? Sounds to me like an unnecessary complication.

So in "advancing wound edge" the most plausible interpretation is that it's the healthy skin that is doing the "advancing", progressively closing he wound.
