English term (edited): consent of surety to final payment (AmE / CanE)

Believing this wording to be US American or Canadian, rather than BrE, I agree with Taña D's unposted answer of "Consentimiento del Fiador de la Obra para pago final". It needs to be spelt out that the surety refers to a party, rather the guarantee itself as a 'suretyship', so as a surety of a bail bond (criminal in AmE) or of a vessel in BrE.

The surety would routinely be a bank or corporation as 'una fiadora', rather than a private individual as 'un fiador'.

'Fragment: Neither final payment not any remaining percentage shall become due until the Design/Builder submits to the Substitute Investor consent of surety, if any, to final payment. The consent of surety to final payment is issued by the *surety company* at the end of a project. The consent states that the owner reserves their right under the bond and the surety company agrees the final payment will not relieve them of any of its obligations.'

**Consentimiento de garantía**: Consentimiento por escrito de garantía sobre un bono de desempeño y/o bono de pago de la mano de obra y los materiales a tal contrato como los órdenes de cambio o reducciones en el anticipo del contratista o al pago final o la renuncia de la notificación de cambios en el contrato.


What about this: "el consentimiento de la garantía del Contratista para el pago final".

Note to Adrian MM:

1. While you may agree with my "unposted" suggestion (it is not "unposted", as it is included as another option - 1st link), "Consentimiento del Fiador de la Obra para pago final". tthe reason I did not use that wording is that the Asker's wording states: "the consent of Contractor's surety to final payment". "Contratista" is the term in Spanish for "Contractor". "Fiador de la Obra" in itself is the "Guarantor of the Work", who may not be the "Contractor" himself. Hope this is clear, and you understand the reason for my actual posting!
