I am translating a medical report on sonography results of the urinary tract and kidneys.

Any suggestions appreciated.

most consistent with a cyst
a.e. stands for "am ehesten"- literally "most likely", but I prefer to say "most consistent with", it is more "medical"

German term (edited):
A. e. Cyste = Ausschluss einer Zyste
Rule out cyst
Lacking context and given the capital A, this is another possibility, and I am sure there are more. Please provide context to allow educated rather than blind guesses ;-)

: I did pause at the capital A as well, but thought that the asker himself had capitalized it. You are right in that we need more context. At least the sentence preceding this.

: Your guess is as good as anyone else's ;-) (the capital A does support your suggestion, though) / On second thought, this should probably read "cyst ruled out" (context is ultrasound results/findings).

: Withe the capital "A" this is certainly a possibility. More context please.
