"CERTIFICATE OF ENROLMENT under the provisions of ACT No. 50 of 1978
Ms XXX was enrolled on [date] as ***enrolled nurse*** after examination."
I have to translate various texts from South Africa relating to a "Course leading to Enrolment as a Nurse (R2175)", "Examination for Enrolled Nurses", and the "Certificate of Enrolment".
There is a difference between **enrolled nurse** and **registered nurse**, the registered nurse being at a higher level of practice than the enrolled nurse. The Act describes the scope of practice of the registered nurse in Chapter 2. and that of the enrolled nurse in Chapter 5. And there is a register for registered nurses and a roll for enrolled nurses.
While I think I understand the difference, I don't have a clue what that might correspond to in German. I would be gratefule for any help.

| Schwesternhelferin kann es in diesem Fall nicht sein, da das süafrikanische Gesetz auch den Begriff/die Kategorie der "auxiliary nurse" enthält, auch "assistant nurse" findet sich dort. |
| Inzwischen habe ich herausgefunden, dass Gesundheits- u. Krankenpfleger/in seit 2020 gemäß Pflegeberufegesetz durch "Pflegefachmann/-frau" ersetzt ist. Jedenfalls danke für Ihre Hilfe! |
