Hi everyone,
I'm working a Libyan text and this part is when we are in a bakery.
I wanted to confirm that this means something like, 'creating shadows in the place'? Basically the idea is that the sun rays come through the window and then they create shadows? If there was so much sun, wouldn't it just be free of any shadows?
"شعاع الشمس يتخلّل نافذة السطح الزجاجية ليشكّل ظلال المكان"
So it's a skylight, and light comes through, and creates shadows - right?
Thank you!

Forming/creating shades in the place
In workplaces, especially in a bakery, the windows tend to be stained by soot. It makes sense then they would create shades.
