“The word 'listen' contains the same letters as the word 'silent'.” ~Alfred Bre
I am debating myself if I should translate this quote into Spanish, since the result is not the same as in English. "La palabra 'escuchar' contiene las mismas letras que la palabra 'silencio'." Indeed it doesn't have the same letters. Any suggestion would be appreciated, this is for a book in Management.

No sé si ya hay traducción más o menos asentada, pero eso da cuenta del anagrama

Quizá se puede dejar sin explicar en algún texto o en tono informal, si el contexto no es académico, el significado de listen y silent, porque son dos palabras muy conocidas.
Lo más cuidado, es incluir la traducción.
Quiero decir el estilo al escribir, un texto cuidado debe añadir el significado.

A los comentarios de que no es una traducción literal: la transcreación consiste en transmitir la idea. En este caso, supongo que la idea es explicar que hay que estar callado para poder aprender. De esta forma, hay una relación entre escuchar y permanecer en silencio. O como digo a algunas personas: se aprende más callado y escuchando, que hablando.

Mi propuesta es una adaptación, una transcreación. No se trata de las letras ni la cantidad, se trata de la idea que quiere transmitir mediante este juego de palabras: que poner atención y permanecer callado tienen una relación directa.
