B: No, the bed’s perfect. Nice and cosy.

Forse è una soluzione un po’ lunga, ma credo che il senso sia questo.
Il personaggio non sarebbe tanto triste ad andare a dormire su un divano, dal momento che tanto questo può diventare un letto.
