This is just a one-liner from a long, verbose, detailed Mexican report of a brief hospitalization. Patient has a host of illnesses, including diabetes type 2, cholecystitis, high blood pressure, chronic kidney disease, cardiopathy, hypothyroidism.

The text reads: CBC hb 105, hematocrit xxx, platelets xxx, leukocytes xxxx, *****NY***** 66%, lymphocytes 28%

Is this a typo?

Joseph Tein Nov 20, 2021: @Lisa Again: you need to consider context when posting or suggesting answers. Neuropeptides and New York Heart Association are irrelevant in the middle of a CBC report.
Joseph Tein Nov 20, 2021: neutrophils From my own less-educated perspective, I agree with Anne. Given the context, the N probably stands for neutrófilos. I also tried to see what's out there as NY, but could not find any examples.
