Spanish term

no logramos una inercia

Thank you!

"we can't create inertia"

Although inertia is something you "have" or "reach" in a metaphorical or scientific context, a business or marketing context would implement it in terms of "creating inertia" for growth

neutral philgoddard : Inertia has two meanings: one is momentum, as in this example, but the more common is lack of movement, which is not the case here.

we did not achieve a good rhythm

We were in a situation where we did not achieve a good rhythm...

beyond mere inertia, we underperformed

It wasn’t just a matter of leveling off, we put out less …

we didn't achieve momentum

This is the term I've heard to refer to something that to a drive that gradually grows and can't be easily stopped, like a snow ball rolling down a mountain. I believe it would work well here.

I should've typed "....refer to a drive that...."

Thank you, Giovanni:)
Muchas gracias otra vez.

agree philgoddard : It should be lográbamos, shouldn't it?

I just checked the paragraph again, and you're right Phil. It should be "lográbamos" instead of "logramos".
