Chodzi o wynagrodzenie tłumacza za wykonane tłumaczenie. Stawka wynagrodzenia może być liczona od znaku, słowa, strony, czasu pracy czy być zależna od trudności/specjalizacji tekstu. Czasem nawet praca w tzw. anti-social hours zmienia stawkę czy ogólnie wynagrodzenie.

mysle, ze w angielskim, biorac pod uwage - słownikową hierarchię znaczeń - jest wiele innych synonimów wyprzedzających "fee" jako "wynagrodzenie"
