I can't find an equivalent for these expressions in Italian: a statuesque-grey-haired-woman (una donna "slanciata" dai capelli grigi),
Columbo style mackintosh raincoat ("un impermeabile beige allo stile detective Colombo". Is this a well-known series in Italy? Any equivalent?)

In the shadowy depths of the bookshop, a statuesque-grey-haired-woman, wearing a Columbo-style-mackintosh raincoat, the collar turned up and oversized sunglasses, is acting very suspiciously over by Great Britain.
