English term

is leading

English to French Bus/Financial Law (general) code de conduite
In this Code of Conduct the expression ‘XXX’ is used to describe the group of companies of XXX XXX XXX including all of its subsidiaries and majority interests.

Laws and regulations that are stricter than our Code of Conductor manuals will take precedence.

The same goes for stricter internal rules drawn up by subsidiaries, joint ventures and operating companies.

This Code of Conduct takes effect on 1 January XXX and replaces previous codes of conduct.

Changes may be made from time to time andare then communicated to employees.

The Dutch version of the Code of Conduct is leading.

Discussion

Germaine Jul 20, 2021:
Merci, Adrien. » Desdites modifications? Selon l'analyse logique, mais il me semble qu'on a tous compris autre chose...

Loc. verb. - https://www.cnrtl.fr/definition/foi

Daryo Jul 19, 2021:
Not much point putting "XXXX" in few places and then leaving "the group of companies of Royal Swinkels FamilyBrewers Holding N.V."?

The Dutch version of the Code of Conduct is leading.
=
seule la version ... fera foi

Usual way of expressing it.

Samples aplenty:

Merci!

It's just another way of stating the same thing. That's what you will find in an endless number of international conventions, whatever any glossary or dictionary has to say ... BTW, here "Faire foi" = "the version to be trusted", "the relevant one"
