Spanish term
DIFIL OTE
Spanish to English
Tech/Engineering
Mechanics / Mech Engineering
I can't give any context as its just an endless Excel sheet of technical spec. I'm not even sure what the client makes or what the sheet will be used for. There are loads of segments dealing with bearings, couplets, terminals etc, but also printheads and toner cartridges. To give you some idea, the segment after this deals with hand cream.
Anyway this is the relevant section...
COPLE MARCA FLENDER N-EUPEX TIPO IBI TAMAÑO 200 JUEGO 2 PZAS CON BARRENO PILOTO Y ELEMENTOS FLEXIBLES.
COPLE TOROFLEX.
TAMAÑO 30W.
PARA BOMBAS DE COMBUSTOLEO DE HORNOS DE ***DIFIL OTE.
Y PTE***.
I'm guessing that "PTE" is "BRIDGE" but I can't work out what DIFIL OTE is. I thought at first it was a company name, but it doesn't seem to be

Diphenyl oxide/Biphenyl mix = 'difil', and is a heat transfer fluid.
According to this patent, PTE is 1-phenyl-1-tetrahydronaphthylethane (also called 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro(1-phenylethyl) naphthalene), and is also a heat transfer fluid (e.g. used in DOWTHERM RP)

I cant find anything about OTE, but my guess is that it's another heat transfer fluid.
In this first reference, mechanical seals have been exposed to various chemicals to see how resistant they are to the various chemicals. In it, it lists "ACEITES TÉRMICOS (p.ej. Difil)" .

Similarly, these wheels have been tested for their resistance to a variety of chemicals including Difil 80°C.

This patent says that Difil is "mezcla eutéctica de 75% de óxido de bifenilo y 25% bifenilo"
https://patents.google.com/patent/MX2008016194A/es
and this book says the same.

If this is correct, then I believe the English is Diphenyl ether, but as I said, a stab in the dark!
