using the layering technique
The Layering Technique
When dermal fillers are layered, it often means more than one formulation is used in a single area to produce the best possible results. This is particularly beneficial when treating deep creases around the nose and mouth. The layering approach can also provide support in the different dermal layers when the goal is to add volume to areas like the midface. We can complete the layering technique in a single treatment session, giving you dramatic results without the need to schedule additional appointments.

Answer: Tear trough injections--should last for a long while!
Dear Peabody friend, Tear troughs can be addressed with HA fillers using a layering technique I discuss in the attached video. The procedure is relatively simple and short and the results should last for at least a year.

This patient in her late thirties presented with concerns about looking tired. She had 2mL of dermal filler injected. A ‘base’ layer of a thicker filler was injected into her cheek, and then a finer filler designed for the eye area was injected into her tear troughs.
