Преводим документ из САД који се зове ’Certified Copy of Marriage Record’ (код нас би то било еквивалентно 'изводу из матичне књиге венчаних'), а који је издао судија суда који се зове ’Probate Court’:

У нашим речницима се за ’Probate Court’ може наћи искључиво превод у смислу ’оставински суд’ и сл, што овде свакако није случај, па стварно не знам како бих то смислено превео. Да ли је неко имао искуства у превођењу сличних докумената из САД и има конкретно решење како би се то могло превести да буде разумљиво нпр. и нашим матичарима? :-)

Our Purpose
Our purpose is to issue marriage licenses to Shelby County residents who wish to marry in Ohio, and those out of state residents wishing to marry here in Shelby County.
