Creo que mejor te deshaces del "respectivamente" en la traducción para que quede más claro. Además, yo agregaría la palabra "grupos". Sugiero algo así:

"De los 185 pacientes aleatorizados en dos grupos, 91 fueron tratados con IFN-K en un grupo y 93 con PBO en el otro grupo". A propósito, aquí faltó un paciente para completar los 185.

Lo que sucede en este caso es que, en mi opinión, el adverbio "respectivamente" no está siendo utilizado correctamente, por eso creo que es mejor omitirlo.

Lo que quiere decir que 91 pacientes fueron tratados con IFN-K (Interferon) y 93 pacientes fueron tratados con PBO (placebo).
