QOL summary scores of the physical subscale of SF-36

English Other Other
Physical function (PF), body pain (BP), and QOL summary scores of the physical subscale of SF-36 were significantly higher in the intervention group than in the control group. The only adverse events were a few cases of minor burns. These results suggest that self-care using indirect moxibustion may be effective in reducing minor symptoms and improving the QOL of pregnant women.

Should QOL summery scores of physical subscale be "physical component summary(PCS)" or is it OK as is?

Thank you!
Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Yvonne Gallagher

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

@ Asker it's fine as it is and there is no need to rephrase or complicate it

English term (edited): QOL summary scores of the physical subscale of SF-36
Selected

summary scores for Quality of Life as shown in the physical subscale of Short Form 36

This is what I understand by the term phrase.

“The Short Form 36 Health Survey Questionnaire (SF-36) is used to indicate the health status of particular populations, to help with service planning and to measure the impact of clinical and social interventions. Culture-specific data are required to calculate SF-36 norm-based scores.”

Note: this SF-36 has a section named “Physical Health Problems”. See https://clinmedjournals.org/articles/jmdt/jmdt-2-023-figure-...
