"To be or not to be, that is the question." I looked at the phrase without "to be" and it does not sound good to my ear. One can rephrase the whole thing, capriciousness or contrariness were not the motives underlying the decision to change the name.

: moze myle sie, ale "could not" tutaj brzmi imo - jakby nie dopatrzyl sie, bo nie mial okularow :), ale koncepcja dokladnego oddania jako uzasadnienia jest wyborna
