Yes, but there are regional differences. "Portemonnaie" seems to be THE word in Cologne, "Geldbeutel" is used in the south (and the "bag" aspect sounds strange to me...)

Edhild: that's what I thought until I went to Baden-Baden. They all (men and women) have "Geldbeutel"
