Σκέφτηκα μήπως θα ήταν ακριβέστερο να πεις κανείς «ένας δικαστικός λειτουργός», αλλά και στα ελληνικά απλοποιούμε συχνά σε «δικαστής» και στα αγγλικά απλοποιεί σε «magistrate».
