العرف المحاسبي لشركة ما جديدة هو ما تعارف عليه من اسس وقوانين معمول بها في بقية الشركات لنفس الاختصاص اذاّ العرف المحاسبي هو الاخذ من المعايير المعمول بها وتطبيقها في الشركة الجديدة حتى يتسنى لها اختيار تطبيقات اخرى او ابقاء المعايير المتعارف عليها لتكون لها قوانين معمول بها في شركتها واسس ثابتة
ومن يقترح ان العرف المحاسبي هو

فهذا اختيار قاموسي اكثر منه اختيار فهم للمعنى وكان الافضل القول

Big difference ? Did you read the whole article ? "The scope and detail of accounting standards continue to widen, meaning that there are now fewer accounting conventions that can be used."
