Swedish term

salva

Swedish to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
A list of of "dammande arbete med kvartshaltigt material" contains "Laddning salva" and "Lastning sprängd salva".
What can it be? I guess that "salva" means here an explosive used for blast hole drilling. Then "sprängd salva" means "masses formed due to explosion".
"Salva" is translated as "ointment". But Spränggelatin (blasting gelatin or simply jelly) was used for blast hole drilling before.
Is it possible that, for this reason, the word "salva" came into being as a slang word denoting the explosive for blast hole drilling?

Thank you in advance!

I think you're overthinking this "Salva" in this context means "salvo", surely?
