Explanation: Este texto trata sobre los modelos educativos en Latino América y va dirigido a investigadores del campo de habla inglesa (sobre todo británicos).

El texto original dice así: "... a fin de equiparar la calidad de la enseñanza de los sectores vulnerables con los SECTORES MÁS ACOMODADOS".

Éste es mi intento: "... all of this in order to equate teaching quality for vulnerable communities with those COMMUNITIES MORE PRIVILEGED".

Another option.
Also "more affluent", "more comfortably off"... There are many ways to skin this moggy.
Example sentence:

This results from a dominant presence of other comfortably off sectors who displace the upper middle classes

This included not only young people and urban dwellers, but also the comfortably-off sectors of the population
