Spanish term

Negocios encadenados

Non-PRO Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) Argentinian Spanish
seems obvious but I can't find a suitable English term, this is NOT chain stores etc, but rather a business model where the companies are connected to each other and support and feedback into each other in a sort of loop.

Context:

The discourse is on what someone said to another about chain stores and local businesses.

Instead of 'chain store' in the translation 'It was a successful business relationship or partnership' is more acceptable.
Example sentence:

"He believes that there is a series of ideal businesses or shops which are connected with the others nearby to form a circle. It was a successful chain store."

Note from asker:
Thanks for taking the time to reply, but as stated in the original question, these are NOT chain stores, but entirely different businesses, none of which are stores at all, that are somehow 'linked' to each other.
Peer comment(s):

disagree AllegroTrans : Asker categorically says these are not chain stores
