WHO guidelines: In general, the term “batch” more often refers to intermediates or final formulated bulks
which are in one or a few large containers, while “lot” usually refers to the final product
in the final container. They are, however, interchangeable as indicated in WHO’s GMP
guideline glossary.

Jedná se tedy sice o zaměnitelné termíny, ale batch se týká spíše:-) výrobního procesu, zatímco lot se týká spíše:-) konečného (baleného) výrobku.

Batch/Lot Pro "šarže" se používají termíny Batch a Lot, v tomto kontextu lze obojí.

Podle mé zkušenosti z výroby: batch (vsádka) je elementární výrobní objem
lot (šarže) je určitá série balení (může jich být více z jedné vsádky.
