English term

conductor/connector

English to Arabic Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng
How does Arabic distinguish between these two terms?

conductor = material able to carry electrical current
connector = a component that provides a physical, electronic or other type of link between at least two things, pieces of hardware etc.

They cannot both be موصل !

موصّل/وصلة

Whereas 'conductor' may be translated as موصّل as in مادة موصّلة للكهرباء, 'connector' could be translated as وصلة/رابط/طرف توصيل to clarify the difference in meaning.
