French term (edited): compte de temps disponible

Compte de temps disponible (CTD) has a precise meaning: it is the amount of time (in practice: days) off that employees get in France through RTT (réduction du temps de travail), that number being proportional to the number of days on which you worked during a given period. Cf. your text: …imputation du nombre mensuel de jours travaillés sur le compte de temps disponible.

From memory, it has no legal definition and is not mentioned in the law on RTT - employers are merely told they're responsible for keeping track of their employees' RTT entitlement. It is however mentioned in all (as far as I know) French collective bargaining agreements. It's also sometimes described as a management tool used by HR depts. This may be a draft document, but the contents of article 8 is accurate and I chose it because it is "readable".

This is not time that is made available for no particular reason. It is accrued specifically within the framework of RTT and to me, a translation that wouldn't spell it out would miss the point - it's implicit in French, but is it in English? In E>F, I'm always tempted to leave the original term when it's specific to the source country and has no exact equivalent in the target country, but always add an explanatory translation. I think this is just such a case.
