L’innovation technologique deviendra aussi suspecte que salutaire quand le digital se révèle indispensable et présente des opportunités. La consommation sera *réarbitrée car conscientisée*. Les impacts directs et indirects de notre confort marginal seront beaucoup plus présents.

Hi all,

This term comes from a text about the impact of Covid-19 on consumption, business and the economy as a whole. This section seems to refer to the issue of governance, where the roles of public and private sectors will merge.

Any help with this particular phrase would be much appreciated.

what it means is that consumption patterns will change because of people's growing awareness (of the different issues) and they will therefore make different choices.
Covid will have been a wake-up call, leading us to rethink our values

I think the previous suggestions stick too closely to the original, so they're not easy to understand. Thanks to polyglot45, who suggested something similar but was reluctant to post it as an answer.
