School obs – Was by himself at break time as he and his friends had fallen out. Seemed upset by this and was pleased when a group of girls came over to play with him.

I have translated many similar reports where the social worker/health professional visits the child's school to observe him/her in an academic setting. The context/co-text you've given supports this as well, as they are observations made about him/her at school, hence, 'school observations'.

School report is something like کارنامه, it can have grades. School observation is descriptive, the child behavior at school is described as in your example.

ممکن است گزارش مدرسه جنبه انضباطی داشته باشد ولی مشاهدات در محیط مدرسه جنبه روانشناسی دارد.

it's actually the result of a behavioral assessment for a kid, there is a table providing different type of information about the kid's behavior, like school report, mom's observation, nurse's observation,and etc. , there is one field(school obs) that is :

You know school reports may refer to the reports provided by the school about the child and his health based on some forms that the child or his parents fill in when they enroll the child in school, but school obs can refer to what have the school staff or the child's friends have observed in his/her behavior at school. So both of them could be included at the same time if this is the case.

Hi. You are welcome. You mean you have a health report in which there is a sub-part of school report or you have two reports one named as health report and one as school report?

thank you guyes for your suggestions, but i don't believe that would be observations as there is another field for school reports, so there is no need to have another field for school observations, cause these are almost the same
