Now let’s talk about the most exciting part of our strategic priorities.
It’s really all about building a strategic growth framework for the company.
This is a new capability that we are beginning to build.

We’re calling this NBS Next.
One might ask why do we need a growth framework?
You know there are great reasons to have a growth framework.
First and foremost, it is really a model by which we can integrate the core strengths of the company, customer passion, precision technologies.
Integrate those core capabilities along with new capabilities that allow us to sustain growth.
The second, we need a consistent way we think about growth across the company.
As we diversify the company, we’re going to be in new businesses.
We’re going to be in new industries.
This model allows us to consistently think about how do we run this railroad.
So, it is really a consistent operating approach to the business.
Third, it provides clarity to what winning looks like.
If you’re in different circumstances, different businesses, this framework will allow us to really know as I get up and as I win, what that winning looks like.
Finally, what is really important about this is that it allows us a framework to teach, to coach and to develop our leaders of the future.
It’s a simple, teachable, transferable model that allow us to continue to grow.
