Spanish term

Generador

Spanish to English Medical Medical: Cardiology Pacemaker
The following appears in a medical report for pacemaker implantation in Spain:

Nota de implante de Marcapasos:
En sala de EEF se realiza el implante de MP Biotronik compatible con RM por vía subclavia izquierda sin incidentes.
Generador Enitra 6 D-T: SN 69430929
Cable VS Solia S 60 SN: 80859994 Onda R 8.3mV Impedancia 1000Ohm Umbral de estimulación 0,9V a 0.5 ms
Cable VS Solia S 53 SN: 80810406 Onda 1.7P mV Impedancia 536Ohm Umbral de estimulación 1V a 0.5 ms

I am unsure how "Generador" should be translated in this context and would appreciate suggestions.

Thanks, John.

(Pulse) Generator

The pacemaker has two parts: the leads and a pulse generator. The pulse generator has the battery and a tiny computer, and is just under the skin of the chest. The leads are wires threaded through the veins into the heart and implanted into the heart muscle.

Should be fairly straightforward.

pacemaker (as per the manufactuer's website)

According to the manufacturer's website, they use the term PACEMAKER for the "Enitra" model:

"Enitra 6 DR-T/SR-T
MINIMAL SIZE. PROVEN SOLUTIONS.

Enitra 6 pacemakers combine small size with a complete suite of tools for comprehensive diagnostics, powerful bradycardia therapy and facilitated handling— yielding long-lasting wireless devices that support efficient MRI access and timesaving remote monitoring.

I think the manufacturer's information is always a good source in these cases.

Siguiendo la pista de Neil puedes acceder a los manuales en inglés y castellano. Aunque no se trata de documentos idénticos, sí contienen extractos perfectamente equivalentes, con las correspondencias en uno y otro idioma. Anoto sólo un par de ejemplos;

The generator is a small battery-powered unit. It produces the electrical impulses that stimulate your heart to beat. The generator may be implanted under your skin through a small incision. The generator is connected to your heart through tiny wires that are implanted at the same time.
