Ensayo de investigación: Ensayo de carga previo a la ejecución de los anclajes de la obra, mediante el que tratan de definirse fundamentalmente la resistencia del bulbo en el contacto terreno-lechada, la longitud libre aparente y la carga crítica de fluencia del mismo (Apartado 5.2).

Types and methods of injected anchor test are given in EN ISO 22477-5.
The standard EN ISO 22477-5 provides specifications for three types of tests:

Investigation test
Suitability test
Acceptance test
Three possible test methods are described (Test 1, 2 i 3).

The investigation test is a load test to establish the geotechnical ultimate resistance of an anchor and to determine the characteristics of the anchor in the working range. The suitability test is a load test to confirm that a particular anchor design will be adequate in particular ground conditions and the acceptance test is a load test to confirm that an individual anchor conforms with its acceptance criteria.
Of the three types of test, only the acceptance test is required for all grouted anchors, the other are specified depending on the particular circumstances on the project.

Existen 3 ensayos que se pueden aplicar a los anclajes; el ensayo de capacidad u homologación, ensayo de recibimiento o aceptación y ensayo de verificación de creep. En la guía española de anclajes, la normativa FHWA, el Post Tensioning Intitute y otras normativas se describen y mencionan estos ensayos. En este punto se realizará el primer ensayo, ya que se afirma que es un ensayo de investigación y nos ayuda a verificar la capacidad de carga que tiene el anclaje.

Estas son pruebas simples de carga que se realizan para determinar las siguientes características de los anclajes: capacidad para resistir una carga de prueba superior a la nominal del anclaje, evaluar la curva tensión-deformación y la longitud libre aparente del anclaje.
