French term

référent

French to English Medical Medical (general) Hospitalization form
Hi,

In the hospital letterhead I have the following positions"

"Référent insuffisance cardiaque"
"Référent transplantation"

Would consultant work in this context?

This is for the US market.

Thanks
Joanna

Hi Tony, under the doctor's name there is "Praticien Hospitalier" and under that there is "référent..."
Tony M May 23, 2019:
@ Asker: Context? How does this actually appear in the "letterhead"? I.e. are you suggesting that this is some kind of hospital-wide job title? Or maybe specific to this case?

Proposed translations
