¿Cómo traducirían "la empiria" como "lo empírico"? No es empirismo como corriente.

If it means "lo empírico", I might use this.
However, I don't understand why the asker says "No es empirismo como corriente" - my first choice to translate the sentence would have been "empiricism" (analysts of the past who deny/renounce/reject empiricism in favour of idealism) ...

Nevertheless, a Google search for "renounce the empirical" gets 30,600 hits.
