Sections, OK, at a pinch, but not caves, because a gallery is part of a cave (and a cave can have several of them), and not passages, because a gallery is a relatively wide, high part of a cave and a passage is generally lower and narrower.

I can't see any reason not to use galleries:

"GALLERY A cave chamber that is rather large and nearly horizontal. May be adorned with natural decorations."
"PASSAGE A cavity in a cave that is longer than it is wide or high. A passage normally leads to other places in a cave, and is not a dead end."
