Just doing a rushed job for an agency which I thought would take me a few minutes.... It's a video from Mexico about community banks which lend money to small businesses. The video is here (the Spanish part starts at 3 minutes:

Pues, que siga apoyando a las mujeres que trabajan para que vayan superando, porque por medio de los prestamos ***hacemos sal*** para trabajar.
She doesn't seem to be making salt so I suspect it means money, but I can't find any references to sal meaning money in Mexico.
TIA

I don't think she's saying "hacemos sal", but rather "hacemos algo", it's just that she barely pronounces the last syllable of "algo".
So basically she's saying that they can use the loans [to do something] to make a living/keep working or however you want to translate "por medio de los préstamos, hacemos algo para trabajar".

Note from asker:
I thought she might be saying 'hacemos al....' but couldn't work out what that might mean either. Thank you. |

We are able to work
I think she means to say that thanks to the loans, they are able to work (or start a business)...
Discussion
I couldn't hear what her companion said either, but I presume she was ribbing her for not knowing when to stop talking.
Incidentally, Jane, just out of interest, did you get what the woman in the red apron (5:50) meant when she said "Es que ya me piqué!"?
