Italian term
Il Tenitore
Italian to English
Bus/Financial
Law (general)
Bureaucratic forms
This word appears under the signature of a person on a form. It is a form of the Ufficio del registro di commercio in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland. My guess would be that it comes from 'persona che tiene....'. In this case, could I translate it as 'Official in charge' or something like that (i.e. the person who holds that office)? It is form verifying that something is a true copy of a document that has been filed. Thank you!

Thanks to Angie and Daniela for looking this up in the dictionary. Angie's reference says: "Chi possiede, conduce, amministra qualcosa".
