Moim zdaniem "reckoning" jest synonimem słowa "count" i można przetłumaczyć cały zwrot "to hold count and reckoning' jako "rozliczać się", "prowadzić rozliczenie". W pewnych zwrotach występują dwa różne słowa, mające to samo znaczenie.
