Yes, it is applied onto the gum (applied to the gum); applied onto "the whole gum surface" 2-3 mm above the gum line (over the coronal aspect)...
Esa es la idea al menos, aunque no esté seguro de cómo expresarla adecuadamente en inglés ;)

Pincelar Re-reading the sentence, it occurs to me that perhaps the antioxidant is probably being brushed/swabbed *onto* 2 or 3 mm of gum area. I think I jumped the gun when I referred to injecting it.

The comma is unnecessary but I added it to separate the part that refers to the previous items to be injected. "Encía" means 'gum'.
