Japanese term
充実腺管癌崩れ
Japanese to English
Medical
Medical (general)
Cancer
This is from a histopathological assessment of a breast tumour. The full description is 広義の硬癌(充実腺管癌崩れ)
I know that 硬癌 is scirrhous carcinoma and 充実腺管癌 is solid-tubular carcinoma, but I don't understand the meaning of 崩れ here.
Any help would be appreciated.

modified solid tubular carcinoma
崩れ means "changed" "broken" "modified" "deteriorated", etc.. I think in this case "modified" is suitable.
Note from asker:
Thanks for your help. 'Modified' seems as though it might suitable but I can't find any examples of this usage in English. I decided to use the idea of 'originating from' based on the other answer. |

上から、崩れは「由来」の意味と推測されます。
