I have been around horses for years and it is the first time I have heard of a "pottery gait". I've learnt something new today. A "pottery" gait would seem to indicate a "stiff, stilted action" which occurs in horses and donkeys suffering from laminitis.

SINTOMATOLOGÍA

-El síntoma mas común es una cojera que casi siempre es leve al principio.
-Si el animal no quiere caminar cuando lo obligamos camina con pasos medidos cortos y rápidos .
-Cuando esta parado desplaza sus extremidades traseras hacia delante para tratar de quitarle peso a las delanteras (esto cuando el episodio es en las dos delanteras).
-Cuando es en una sola (delantera o trasera) se para de pinzas.
-Cuando es en las cuatro el dolor y la molestia es tan fuerte que el animal se acuesta
-Al examinar su pulso es fuerte , la temperatura del pie afectado se eleva.
