English term

continental as contractor

English to Dutch Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
I have found all kinds of tranlations for the term 'continental' in questions on this forum, but I still have my doubts about the translation in this context: The text is an 'Agreement Concerning the Processing of Personal Data under Contract'.
I quote:
"between
Your company
- hereinafter referred to as “Client” -
and
[Continental as Contractor]
[Street, house no.]
[ZIP code, city]
- hereinafter referred to as “Contractor” -
- jointly referred to as “Parties”

Can I say 'Europeaan als opdrachtnemer', or perhaps 'Europese opdrachtnemer'?
I would appreciate your help very much,

How do you explain 'Continental'.
It seems you have at least some idea about this.

In the context of data protection, I would rather think of the European Union than the European Continent.

What about Russia and Putin? :-)

Continental als opdrachtnemer

I may be completely wrong since I haven’t seen the rest of the text, but my first guess would be that Continental is the company name (or abbreviated name) of the contractor. Any information in the rest of the document to back that up?
