Now with the XXX Spectral CT, every scan can be spectral on demand.
• MonoE:
MonoE is a virtual mono-energy image that can range between 40-200 keV.
MonoE images have the potential to reduce image artifacts, such as beam hardening while using the high-range keV, typically above 80.
MonoE also provides enhanced visualization of iodine and iodine-enhanced tissues using the low-range keV, typically lower than 60.
• Virtual non contrast:
Shows image as if iodine component is removed.
VNC images have the potential of replacing a true non-contrast series.
• *** Iodine no Water***:
Iodine no Water [mg/ml*] images have the potential to allow for improved visualization of iodine-enhanced tissues.
This result can also be used for iodine quantification, but only in areas where iodine is present.
