Solo sugerirte que barajes la posibilidad de que falte una coma. No estoy seguro (en realidad, falta contexto), pero sí estoy seguro de que es "permanente", no "duradero".

While I agree with Merab's translation of "durable power of attorney", but I don't think there's a missing comma here; rather, I believe "durable power of attorney" modifies "affidavit".

: Estoy de acuerdo, aunque yo dejaría el concepto de indemnidad, q tiene el mismo significado en español http://dej.rae.es/#/entry-id/E138510 // EDIT: My physical copy of Thomas West says Indemnity=Indemnidad for all cases, not just German law

Thanks, Alex. I'm not sure about using such a specific term as "indemnidad", the RAE entry you mention says that it relates specifically to German criminal law. Interesting, all the same; I'd never seen that.
