English term
on-drug and new patients
English to German
Medical
Medical: Pharmaceuticals
market share of drug
This is a ppt presentation, so I am interested in being as brief as possible, especially as this terms appears in the text as well as in graphs.
The presentation compares the prescribing situation of a particular product that is produced by several different companies in different regions within a given country.
There will be an explanation of the situation like "xx is clearly the leader in the yyy market in terms of both on-drug and new patients". And then a graph to explain it with headings like "On drug* share of yyy market in zzz (total number in K on top)", but also often just really brief "on drug" or "new".
So far I have settled for einnehmende Patienten and neue Patienten (and the abbreviate to einnehmende P. or similar.
The audience is "professionals in the field" and it's an internal document that will be presented at company level

(Beim Googeln findet man viele Beispiele.)

Vielleicht kannst du ja in dem längeren Satz ("clearly the leader...in terms of both on-drug and new patients") ausgeschriebene Versionen unterbringen und gleich noch abgekürzte Versionen in Kammern einführen, die du dann in den Grafiken etc. verwenden kannst? (siehe Harald M.'s Vorschlag)
