French term

MSIN

French to English Medical Medical: Health Care
I am translating a family history including some medical details. I cannot find the meaning of MSIN. This is followed by "ou malaise grave" I assume the MS is maladies sévères?
Thanks for any help.

Note:
il s’agit d’une mort subite inexpliquée du nourrisson (MSIN).
Ellen Kraus Jul 12, 2017:
syndrome de mort subite du nourrisson (SMSN= SIDS)
dwt2 Jul 12, 2017:
Penny is probably correct, because "malaise grave" refers to what until recently was called in English an "apparent life threatening event", at one time thought to be a near-miss SIDS event

Penny Thank you. In the absence of anything else, it may well work.
