Could I call this the "Contract Year"? (The term, or "looptijd", of the contract itself is 24 months, if that makes any difference.)

On the basis of writeaway’s resources, I chose “Year”, capitalised throughout in order to show that it has a specific definition here. I suppose the other options have the advantage of being more specific to start with.

or more generally: loopjaar = year of something's implementation, or being effective/applicable, etc.

Apparently just "year" is the standard translation according to Jurlex and other Nl-En resources

If the term is 24 months, then there would be 2 "loopjaren" within a term, so you could specify it as "each year of the term" or each 12 month period within the term.
